Does news have to be presented in a formal way? Is that a must? Or are there any other ways which can be done aswell?

In the reading we had this week, one of the ideas were presenting the news in an informal way which might interest some people who wouldn’t try to understand or care it if presenting way hadn’t been in that way. Everyone’s education level can’t be same and assuming the fact that it is, won’t get us far. What I try to say is people have to meet in a common place, like not a hard language or a very easy one. By doing that they can take attentions of more and more people which will lead to having more people having ideas about what is happening around them.

Moreover, giving the news in a funny way won’t hurt anyone but in my opinion increase the viewer number in a huge way because it won’t be a place where people will afraid to see what other bad things happened around them that day after a hard work day. You can’t give out all the news in that way but some can be done.

All the developments, discoveries were made in order to make people’s daily life easier and more enjoyable by letting them have more time for their own. When television was discovered, it was a new communication system which enabled ideas, knowledge to get into the houses of families without asking for anything such as money and permission aswell. And this was a great chance for all the watchers to learn more and be a better person for themselves and for their countries.

However by the time, the education aim of the television started fade. The owners of the channels started to race with each other about who was wacthed more and so on. This made them go for the most enjoyable movies or let’s say in general “piece of art”. This is quite a waste of time when we consider what types of channels we watch every single hour. In addition to this, every member of the community have different choices about what they prefer to watch. This made them buy their own TV and spend their time alone without being socialized by other people.

We have to take a second in our daily rush and let ourselves a chance to see what we are fighting for and what might be the end of the road. It might be quite unhappy ending which noone want, but it might give us a chance to change where we are going before its too late

When you asked a child about what they want to be in future; in past, the answer would be to be a doctor or an astronout. However, the environment that children raised in started to change. The quality of job, what you do to help society, become less important each day. The aim became to be rich and famous. It was like a madness which can’t be avoided easily. The whole moral values started to collapse and gave up it’s importance in human lives. People started to do the things that probably embarrass them but in order to reach that spot it’s not like that anymore. When you turn on the television on mornings, you can watch people arguing about nearly a huge nonsense for hours and hours. Attending to shows and making noise in there by having fights and using it for a long time to be on television, to be in sight of people is another example of this. Moreover, none of them want to get over their problems and hold on to it as long as they can.

People have to hold on to their moral values in order to not forget who they actually are.

Media is a product of human communication system which was got into our lives after the huge tecnological developments. It has quite few variety of those which gets into our daily life, our houses, our cars…

One of the advantages of media is to take us away from daily lives which creates mostly some things to struggle with. These things make people uncomfortable because more thing come up every single day and after a while it will start to be seem like it won’t stop at all. Listening to music, watching a movie makes people to get away from those. It’s kind of a port which people can rest during their journeys. However it can be deceiving as it is in “Enormous Radio” story. Wife forgets about the real life of her and builds her life on radio. It makes her get away too much which makes her forget what her real life is. Fights between her husband all reborn after the break down of the radio. It can be very harmful to her and her family.

We should not forget the fact that media is only for amusement (not news etc) and it must not take us from real life and put us into a fantasy.

As we all know, every person have a different interests. Each person can like various things. Even twins might a have huge gap between their preference. Its quite natural because we are human beings, not a herd of sheeps.

Everyone is free about choosing their own way to a limit where they cant hurt anyone and damage other’s freedoms. Being homosexual is a way of this path I was talking about. These people dont hurt anyone, but they were accepted as community “bad” or in a way “sick” people. Its obvious that they feel like outsiders because even when a person, who has no bad feelings about this, tries to talk over homosexuality, they can say its unlike normal relationships and etc. The normal word is quite important because we all know that its not normal, cos its not something that we used to. However all have to admit that it doesnt hurt anyone and there is no need to block their way and punish them for their choices. Humans always scared from the things that they dont know and although the possbility that they might be quite useful, they tried to destroy or disable them. The ideas and actions against the homosexual people are an example of this act which was observed throughout the human history.

I wouldn’t like to be in a relationship like. That or sure but its not a reason for other people have it, if they want to. Thats their own choice.

Moreover, in the both “What Are We Fighting For?” and “What Marriage Is For” readings, the concept of procreating was mentioned. First of all, having children isn’t the goal of marriage. In my opinion, its not even about economical adventages. Its about a the wish of loving couple to be together for the rest of their lives, of course as much as they can. Having a child is a kind of a product of their love. If they dont have a child, its not a huge deal beacuse thats what they decided to live with. In addition to this, there are many couples ho dont have children beacuse of not having time from working and some of them want to spend the money that they earned by themselves. Its not an idea that came up to my mind while I’m writing it. In Japan and China, people cant have child because of not having enough time to spend. Their population’s young piece decreasing in every year. So having some few couples of homosexuals wont hurt the world. And they can raise children who dont have their parents because of many reasons.

I have to admit that this story was a bit strange. At least it wasn’t a thing like what I had imagined in my head when I first read the title of the story in the wednesday’s class during the presantation. People had ideas such “what we you and what you will be in future”, and this makes people to think about a social status of a person or job of them or even the money of that person; however being kidnapped by a man wasn’t one of the ideas which pop up at our minds.

It might be a good way to prove reader the negative/harmful sides of being a rebellious teenager. Its like the idiom that everyone might know. “My father was right” When you are 10, you listen what your parents say and accept it as right. However after 18 and till 30, you think that their ideas are just crap and your’s are quite better in nearly every part. When your age gets to 40, you start to realize, they were right.

This is a story of a girl who nearly rejects her family and seems to have walls between her and them. Not liking her mother because of not thinking in same way and making her doing what she does not want to do, her sister beacuse of being totally opposite of her; made her built those walls and not like nearly most of the things around her. But with the arrival of the man and taking her away from all of those made the things become more clear than ever. It made her become 40 in that age and made her realize the real values of the things around her.

From the story, it was told to the reader that Homer Barron was a dark skinned foreman, but a dark man doesnt have to be a black person.
Morever, there is a realationship between Homer and Emily. Since Emily was from a rich family, it wasnt proper for her to be with a man from lower class. All the town were gossiping over her and it would be mentioned because it would be a great disgrace for her if he was a nigger which will be equal to a slave in those days. And Emily has a servant who we dont know his name but only know the fact that he is “Negro”. If Homer Barron was a black person, it would be addressed directly as negro because people around were looking a reason to pity her.
